1. Describe the process you went through to change your object into the correct perspective to create the drawing. This is when you were in the lab.
It took me a while to actually think of something to get to draw. I could not think of anything, but I was where a fedora that day so I chose that. Then I found one with good value and photoshopped it.
2. How did distorting and stretching the object allow for you to create a drawing that would look different to the viewer?
It needed to be on a grid and be scaled good. That is what led to it being a good figure for anamorphosis. I used color pencils to give it perspective and good shadows to make it look realistic. When I finished I kept moving my sketch book to put it at the right angle. When I did it transformed from 2D to 3D. It looked great, I was actually shocked at the result.
3. What were the most important concepts in the project to make it successful?
Probably the the photoshop, colored pencils, and the grid. Without the photoshop the fedora would not have been stretched out. The grid helped me know exactly where to put the pieces of the hat. The colored pencils did the finishing touches to make it look like the real thing. Also something that might have helped was me getting excited about it, I get excited about all projects.I prefer drawing than most other art and it used a little math and I like math.
